This is the first yoga training in the world to study real bones in the anatomy lab at the renowned King’s College London!
Learn all the original yin yoga poses and yang flow warmups and sequences created by Yin Yoga founders Paul and Suzee Grilley, as well as The Infant Series. These yang sequences are an amalgation of yoga, dance and qigong movements created by The Grilleys. Included in the training is Paul Grilley’s teacher, Dr Motoyama’s Meridian Ki Exercises. Students will leave this training learning how to blend these creative yang sequences into yin yoga poses.
A critical component of this training is the study of Bone Morphology. Students will study everything about the Anatomy of the Shoulder and learn all the anatomical tests devised by Paul Grilley to demonstrate why every student needs to practice their poses differently. Poses of analysis include Downward Facing Dog, Shoulderstand, Headstand, Handstand, Chaturanga and all the Upper Body Yin Poses. On the last day, students will visit the anatomy lab to study and analyze real bones of the shoulder complex and learn how to apply these variations to yoga poses.
