Offering seasonally-inspired brunch plates, vibrant salads and globally inspired dishes by Japanese and California cooking. Expect everything from shakshuka and French toast to chicken karaage Caesar salad, kimchi rice and freshly baked cakes, alongside specialty coffee, wines and classic cocktails. We also cater for special events like parties or weddings!
We are open seven days a week serving breakfast, brunch and lunch.
Cafe Mission is also a Co-Working space — we offer monthly memberships or daily drop-in rates to work in our gorgeous space with fast Wifi, comfy sofas, and sturdy tables.
And in the evenings, we can open for pop-ups or special events like birthday parties or weddings. Just email cafe@mission-e1.com with your request!

Our menu offers a variety of brunch dishes from vegan mushroom toast to shakshuka, french toast, poached eggs with beetroot and watercress, and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. (Our “Mission Cali Fry Up” is not to be missed at 55g of protein!)
We have long tables for big groups, and serve family-style for these occasions with big sharing plates overflowing with goodness (and sometimes things a little naughty.)
Our bar lounge is furnished with pre-loved sofas and chairs that we found on eBay and then redecorated in eclectic patterns and materials. The perfect spot to sink some espresso martinis.
We can also host pop-ups and special events like christmas and birthday parties or weddings (we have a DJ point both inside and on the terrace.)

“I booked Café Mission for my birthday party. It was a big event with 60 people, a buffet supper, open bar, and dancing (my own playlist blue toothed onto their amazing sound system). It was amazing. I felt very well supported by Cerys throughout the booking and planning process. David, Chef, and his team produced a fantastic array of delicious veggie food all cooked freshly on the premises. Ruby and the staff team couldn’t have done a better job of giving the friendliest of welcomes, serving drinks and food, keeping people’s glasses topped up, and managing the sound system. It was a blast. I’ve had so many of my guests messaging me saying how brilliant the whole evening was and wanting to book the place for their own events.
